- Genesis 1:26 “Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground.”
The Kingdom: God’s Actions and Attitude
Matthew 10:7 “And as you go, preach, saying, the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
1 Corinthians 4:20 “For the Kingdom of God is not just a lot of talk; it is living by God’s power.”
Matthew 9:35 “Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness.”
Matthew 13:44 The Kingdom of Heaven is like a treasure that a man discovered hidden in a field. In his excitement, he hid it again and sold everything he owned to get enough money to buy the field.
