Acts 1:8 (NKJV)

 ‘But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you.’


Zechariah 4:6 (NKJV)

 ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my SPIRIT, saith the Lord.’


John 20:21-22 (NKJV)

 ‘Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.’ And when he had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.”


Acts 1:4-5 (NKJV)

 ‘And being assembled together with them, He (Jesus) commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which”, he said, “you have heard from me; 5 for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”


Ephesians 4:5 (NKJV)

 ‘one lord, one faith, one baptism.’


Romans 5:5 (NKJV)

 ‘because the LOVE of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.’


1. The Holy Spirit gives us the DESIRE and POWER to serve the Lord.


2. He guides us to the truth; for he is our guide, leader, and Teacher.


3. The Holy Spirit is the power that ENABLES us to do things; to do the work of God.
